Jazzville presents Sony Music recording artist and Bollywood Blues dynamo, Aki Kumar with his dynamic Chicago blues band! A show-stopping vocalist and blues harp player, Kumar fuses classic Bollywood with Blues, Jazz, Ska and Rockabilly, singing in both English and Hindi.

Kumar left his native home in Mumbai, India, for the United States with the intention of working as a software engineer. Then he discovered the Chicago blues, changing his life dramatically. And wait til you hear the band he plays with... one of the hottest acts on the blues festival circuit.
