Artur Menezes - Desert Blues Revival

Brazilian blues artist Artur Menezes is the latest pearl to emerge from the exclusive Rio de Janeiro quarry. A young composer, singer and guitarist who, despite having been in the business for more than a decade, has only recently seen his name and his music transcend significantly.

His style cannot deny the debts with the most classic blues, although it also contains subtle or significant influences (depending on the moment) of rock, funk and baião. A style of popular dance and music, the latter typical of the northeast of the country from which it originates. From all this forms a perfectly balanced sound is derived between vintage and contemporary, between classic and openly indie.

Desert Blues Revival at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics, unobstructed sight lines, and plush seating.
