Jazzville presents the Maria Schafer Quintet. A voice from the 40s with finger-snapping swing. Maria weaves compelling and honest stories with a songbook deeply steeped in straight ahead jazz and well-informed by acoustic folk, Brazilian folk, and contemporary jazz music.
