About The Event
Woody Mankowski has graced the stage in Palm Springs several times as guest vocalist and sax player for Rumproller Organ Trio. This time around he´s fronting his own group, The Woody Mankowski Blues Band. Woody is an accomplished singer/songwriter and although he plays many instruments, his main axe is the saxophone, which he´s played since he was 12 years old. His background is in Jazz, but his specialty passion is for singing Soul and R&B which is where he truly shines.
Woody Mankowski has been performing professionally as a singer and saxophonist since age 12. His voice has been recorded on over 500 commercial jingles. He has been a featured vocal and instrumental soloist with The Boston Pops and several other major U.S. symphonies.
Desert Blues Revival at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics, unobstructed sight lines, and plush seating.
